Community Advocate- Bill Miner

The Board of the Jim Neill Memorial Foundation is pleased to honor, Bill Miner for his dedication to the commitment to his community as a litigator and advocate for the St. Andrew Legal Clinic.

Bill Miner is a seasoned litigator and the Partner-in-Charge of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP’s Portland office. He works with his clients to resolve their legal problems through pre-litigation counseling, litigation, and mediation, representing clients in state and federal court and through private arbitration. Bill was voted an Oregon “Super Lawyer” in 2017 and 2018 and was recognized by the Portland Business Journal’s prestigious “Forty Under 40” list in 2015. He is on the boards of St. Andrew Legal Clinic, Oregon Lawyers Against Hunger, and Community Action Organization of Washington County.  Bill is a fan of youth sports and has coached youth basketball, soccer and little league. Although his coaching days are (mostly) over, he enjoys watching his soon to be sophomore daughter play basketball for Southridge High School and his 11 year old son beat him at golf –which happens often.

Bill Miner truly embraces his community like Jim Neill did.
